BERNARD DEVLIN, BARROW IN FURNESS, 1960, PART 1

well to me as I write this Blogg, this film takes me back to my young youthful day, as I look and watch this film,  at the beginning  as they get off the train at Barrow central station, I hear the producers of the film describing my town as a dirty industrial town , not very nice to hear, when we look back to  our once thriving industrial town that made steel, and ships for all over the world,

we were world renowned,  and although, continuous casting was invented in my little town of Barrow in our steelworks, we brought the Japanese into our steel foundry and taught them Continous Casting, thus' our steelworks closed and we are now importing steel from Japan,

well enough of me and my   complaining  I hope you enjoy my BLOGGS' and form your own opinions of the 2 part film, thank you for watching,
kind regards
